A crença na (in)divisibilidade da linguagem (e do leitor, e do sujeito, e…) jaz na raiz das suposições unitarizantes. Não há nada como o ser-em-si senão não-coincidir-consigo. Seja nos vazios dos contornos da escrita, seja na mistura dos sons, a suposta unidade é sempre – como o tempo – divisível, (re)combinável, resta sempre por fazer um corte mais fundo.

Há um morfismo da realidade em si mesma (quer dizer, rumo a si mesma, de si a si), mas o que ele preserva e o que transforma? O que resguarda e o que transmuta? Trans-mudar: emudecer através. Importa, na incessante queda dos sem-partes (á-tomos), o desvio.

The belief in the (in)divisibility of language (and the reader, and the subject, and…) lies at the root of unitarizing assumptions. There is nothing like being-in-itself but non-coincidence-(with-)itself. Whether in the gaps of the shapes of writing, or in the mixing of sounds, the supposed unity is always – like time – divisible, (re)combinable, forever remains a deeper cut to be made.

There is a morphism of reality in itself (that is, towards itself, from itself to itself), but what does it preserve and what does it transform? What does it retain and what does it transmute? Trans-mute: to mute through. What is important, in the incessant fall of the without-parts (a-toms), is the drift.
